Company Policy Statement For Health, Safety and Welfare
It is this Company's intention that its work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable measures taken to avoid risk to its employees or others that may be affected by our operations.
Management and supervisory staff have the responsibility for implementing this Policy throughout the Company and must ensure that our health and safety considerations are always given priority in planning and in the day to day supervision of work.
All employees and sub-contractors are expected to co-operate with the Company in carrying out this Policy and must ensure that their own work, so far as is reasonably practicable, is carried out without risk to themselves or others.
Mr. Kieron Kilbride is the Managing Director of the Company, and as such has the overall responsibility for the Company's health, safety and welfare. Line Managers and Supervisors will carry the initial responsibilities and it is to them that the first reference should be made in the event of any difficulty arising in the implementation of this Policy, however in their absence, or if anyone is not entirely satisfied with the manner in which a matter has been dealt with, or in an emergency please contact Mr. Kilbride directly.
The management of the Company will monitor the operation of this Policy. To assist them the Company has appointed Safety Management Services to visit site and provide advice on corrective actions and legislative requirements.
This Statement of the Company's Health and Safety Policy will be issued to all employees and other contractors when contracted to the Company and where required displayed on site and other workplaces.
The Policy will also be available at each site and workplace for reference by any employee as required.
